A multi timberal artist who has toured
the USA a majority of
my
adult life with various international bands and artists. A
published poet and recording artist, I
have recorded on countless projects ranging in many different
styles, have played for crowds up to 45,000 people, received several awards recognizing
my dedication to
excellence in music and the arts, and my last gig was early 2008,
where I performed
in Berlin, Germany. Some of you might know
me as "Gamma
Raye" from the gothic rock group "The
Blessed Virgin Larry",

Bishop Steel. I recently returned to the USA in August 2008
after
spending the last 8 months in Berlin, Germany and playing
with Black Light Jesus.

I randomly searched your band name…and…WOW! Please excuse
me, I need to recover from the shock of seeing your presence
in the teenage wasteland known as MySpace. OK, a comment
containing a Bishop Steel story, as everyone must have one:
My friend and I were in a record store in Holland in 2002,
and the bastard stumbled across your 1990 EP for only 7 Euro
BEFORE I HAD A CHANCE TO FIND IT. SEVEN FUCKING EURO! So,
instead of slapping him in a fit of jealous rage in the
middle of a store in a foreign country, I decided to behave
and wait until we got home so we could both enjoy it. And my
fucking god, “Lonely Days” is one of the most mesmerizingly
beautiful tracks I have ever heard. Brilliant, brilliant,
brilliant. Absolutely crushing, both in sound and in spirit.
I love the hell out of that EP, and I wish it were MINE.
And that is my story.
